We completed 4 years of ETC Just Group, and a series of memories flashed through my mind.
Episode 1: In the midst of the pandemic, a merger between two companies, with a strong focus on people. Special appearance by Raissa, whose vast experience in major mergers helped guide me through this challenge.
Episode 2: With the pandemic more controlled, departures became more frequent. Hundreds of students from both brands, who were on standby, began traveling in batches. Standard processes were unified, with special care given to every team member and exchange student.
Episode 3: Focus on results. Time to shift attention back to numbers and improvements, always with the goal of professionalizing processes without losing sight of our team and exchange students.
Episode 4: A period of downsizing, ideation, and the creation of a new system to correct major mistakes—errors that shook the entire structure of the business. This episode had the most falls, challenges, and moments when it seemed like everything was going wrong.
For many, these first episodes might seem like failures, but to me, they represent immense success. It was a learning experience no course at Harvard could offer. Today, I find myself a more complete and professional manager, and the company is stronger as a result.
I discovered that I am stronger, more resilient, and more capable of achieving results I never imagined.
I am grateful for the challenges, and especially for this past year, which brought even greater fears. But fear, when faced, turns into strength.
I am even more grateful to all the people who have been part of this journey—the ones who never let go of my hand, and the angels who appeared in recent months. A special thanks to my tireless husband, who supported me even in his exhaustion.
Now, I am doing all my best for the 5th episode. With God, the right partners, and more maturity, I am ready to resolve the old challenges and face the new ones. This will be the best episode yet.
Thank you for all your partnership,
